Judy Greenfeld
Rabbi/Cantor Judy Greenfeld is the Senior Rabbi of Congregation Beth Israel of Colleyville and the founding Rabbi of Nachshon Minyan in Los Angeles. Her spiritual journey began after the tragic loss of her father to gun violence at age sixteen. Grieving and seeking healing, she explored various paths before rediscovering the depth and meaning of Judaism. Ordained by the Academy for Jewish Religion, she became passionate about creating inclusive, welcoming spaces for those disconnected from traditional Jewish life. In 2008, she founded Nachshon Minyan, a vibrant community for unaffiliated Jews seeking to reconnect with their heritage. With a background as both Rabbi and Cantor, she blends music, tradition, and spiritual insight to guide individuals toward meaningful Jewish connection. Rabbi Greenfeld believes that Judaism is a living mosaic, and she helps others weave their unique stories into its timeless tapestry.
